Wall hanging made with repurposed cotton rope intertwined in the weft with cotton threads, set against a cotton warp with short fringed finishes. 

Weaver Estelle Bourdet works from her studio in Jostedal, Norway, hand-weaving rugs and wall hangings with inspiration from her rugged surroundings and Swedish-Swiss cultural heritage. Since childhood, she has assembled an eclectic textile archive that serves both as inspiration and as an accumulation of material from which new pieces emerge.
