Tetomo is a textile studio devoted to soft elements and bringing a poetic ambience to the spaces we inhabit.

Our collections are born out of an admiration for our world’s rich heritage of ancient craft techniques, interwoven with a contemporary aesthetic.

With an uncompromising commitment to quality, we work with a carefully assembled group of acknowledged artisans to bring our designs to life. These dyers, spinners, weavers, emboiderers and tailors work in accordance with indigienous practices and seasonal changes, resulting in processes that are natural, slow and delicate.

In like manner, our design process is analog from idea to realisation, with contemporary artists of various mediums contributing creatively. Embracing interdisciplinary influences, limited batches of objects will occasionally make their way into- and speak in concert with our textile collections.

The practices of the involved artists and artisans are not just about making fabrics, but also about weaving together threads rich with meaning and tradition. We want to recount these stories of dedicated hands and hearts in the shaping of textile pieces for daily life.
