Wall hanging made with repurposed cotton rags in the weft, set against a vibrant cotton warp with soft fringed finishes. Crafted using the generations-old tradition of rag rug weaving. 

Weaver Estelle Bourdet works from her studio in Jostedal, Norway, hand-weaving rugs and wall hangings with inspiration from her rugged surroundings and Swedish-Swiss cultural heritage. Since childhood, she has assembled an eclectic textile archive that serves both as inspiration and as an accumulation of raw material from which new pieces emerge.
