Pants in a pegtop silhouette featuring a waistband with elastic, slant side pockets and a single patch back-pocket. 

Made in Cherry Blossom, an original warp kasuri (ikat) pattern and colour inspired by Japan’s national flower. The making of kasuri fabrics involves more than thirty intricate processes, with specialized craftspeople responsible for each stage. 

The fabrics are woven in a 77-year-old, family-run mill in Yame, Japan, using preserved kasuri techniques and salvaged Toyota power looms — relics of the Industrial Revolution. Once a nationwide-practiced craft used for kimono-making, it has gradually declined over time, leaving only a few remaining mills in Yame, which today are acknowledged as preservers of cultural heritage in Japan.
