Made in Cherry Blossom — an original kasuri (ikat) warp pattern and colour inspired by Japan’s national flower, and Violet-Khaki Stripe for contrast.

The fabrics are woven in a 77-year-old, family-run mill in Yame, Japan, using preserved kasuri techniques and salvaged Toyota power looms — relics of the Industrial Revolution. Once a nationwide-practiced craft used for kimono-making, it has gradually declined over time, leaving only a few remaining mills in Yame, which today are acknowledged as preservers of cultural heritage in Japan.
